Four reasons why EMC members contribute financially to EMC

• All we have comes from God. Giving is a way of honouring God’s place in our lives and reminding us that all good gifts come from God (Psalm 24:1;  Matt 6:21)
• We give in order to grow more like God who is generous.  Giving is the antidote to greed and selfishness  (Luke 6:38; Matt 20:15; 1 Tim 6:18).
• Giving sets us free from loving money more than God (Matt 6:24)
• The various ministries ofEMC cannot operate without the generosity of it’s members.
